2007 was a year of highs and lows. The lows brought the Therapy Barn to a stand still. By the end of the Summer my back couldn't take the strain any more. A few falls finished me off and I had to make the difficult decision to stop and rest. I finished the horses in for training and gave up the yard in Bardfield. Luckily I can keep horses at home so two came home and Ripple went off for a big holiday. One of the horses that came home is Finley. Read his story on the testimonials page. Now, in January 2008 I am finally mended enough to feel I can recover from any future mishaps and The Therapy Barn is resuming business. One horse at a time.

Given the fragile state of my back, I have decided to make the most of what is left of my riding days. I have finally found a dressage trainer who understands the mechanics of a horse's movement and supports my belief that horses can win at advanced level showing freedom, lightness, harmony and balance. These days horses seem to win despite tension, unbalance and rigidity. So that is my mission.

First I must find a horse. My shopping list is short: aptitude, energy, movement. If you've got a horse that needs a bit of help to get to Grand Prix then get in touch and between us, me my new coach and your horse can prove it is possible.
